This past Sunday IAM Cycling began its Ardennes classics campaign at the Amstel Gold.

After the appetizer of climbing the steep hills of Limbourg for Amstel, the Swiss Pro Continental team is ready to take on the Mur of Wallonia.  Wednesday, the Flèche Wallonne will make two passages of the Mur (1.3 km at 9.3% average gradient), the second of which will feature as the finale of the race.

After that, only the main course consisting of the Liège-Bastogne-Liège, also known as La Doyenne, will face the riders in their spring classics campaign this coming Sunday.

As a wild card team among the 18 World Tour teams, IAM Cycling led by Kjell Carlström will enter the races with the same goals that they have had throughout the season: instigate aggressive racing and influence the outcome of the event.
