IAM Cycling
Following the road race for the World Championships in Florence, IAM Cycling will send all its riders out to begin the final stretch of the teams first season in the pro peloton.
And the week kicks off first with the Italian semi-classic Milan-Turin on Wednesday, October 2nd, which acts as useful preparation for the Tour of Lombardy that will follow on Sunday, October 6th.
In the meantime the Eurométropole, formerly the Circuit Franco-Belge, will run from Thursday, October 3rd to Sunday, October 6th. These three events should give ample opportunity for the Swiss IAM Cycling team to show its strength and animate the peloton.
While racing Milan-Turin, the oldest race on the Italian calendar (dating back to 1876), IAM Cyclings Wyss, Löfkvist, Brändle, Reichenbach as well as Tschopp will attempt to succeed Alberto Contador, who won the 2012 edition solo.
