There is no room for doubt.

Johann Tschopp is looking forward to the start of the 67th Tour de Romandie where he will be the sole leader for the IAM Cycling team.  The man from Miège has had a satisfying warm up for the 7.45 kilometer prologue between Le Châble and Bruson.  Tschopp, from the Valais region in Switzerland, recognized already last week that the course would be good for him.

“The prologue suits me.  It is unusual and will not be restricted to the pure specialists.  The long straight-aways segue into false-flats; there are 90 degree turns and a final with demanding percentages.  Using a time trial bike will not really provide any benefit.”

Sitting practically in his childhood backyard in his native Val Ferret, Michel Thétaz, founder of IAM Cycling and CEO of IAM SA (IAM Investment Funds), looks eagerly to the start of the Tour of Romandie while still waiting to hear who will be the teams chosen by the organizer of the Tour de France to compete in the 2013 edition.

“I am not worried.  The guys are ready and motivated.  We are calm in our minds.  I am sure that we will once again demonstrate our qualities.  Personally, I will be glad to see the guys perform well individually in the prologue.  The following day, the team spirit will again be in the spotlight.”
